About this role: As a key member of our Mughal Mahal Restaurant team, the Restaurant Team Leader will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and front-of-house areas.



Key responsibilities:



• Establish and implement efficient methods to meet work schedules and minimize delays.

• Develop and manage budgets for food and kitchen supplies to maintain quality standards while controlling costs.

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, ensuring that food is prepared to the highest standards and presented to our customers in a timely manner.

• Train and develop staff in key areas such as job duties, sanitation procedures, and food safety protocols.

• Maintain accurate records of stock levels, sales, and wastage to inform future purchasing decisions and optimize menu offerings.



Requirements:



• A minimum of 1 year of experience in a fast-paced food service environment.

• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.

• Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing demands.

• A high level of flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to work varied shifts and respond to changing circumstances.



Work Environments:



Fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, and walking are required for this role.
