Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement complex payroll systems using PeopleTools and related technologies, such as PeopleCode, SQR, Application Engine, Component Interfaces, and COBOL, on PeopleSoft v9 or higher.
  2. Design and implement payroll interfaces to third-party systems, ensuring seamless integration and data exchange.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain payroll systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  4. Develop and maintain Oracle databases, including SQL and PL/SQL, to support payroll systems and ensure data integrity.
  5. Provide expert-level support for PeopleSoft HR implementation and maintenance, ensuring optimal system performance and user experience.
  6. Conduct thorough analysis and problem-solving to identify and resolve payroll-related issues, ensuring timely and accurate resolution.
  7. Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including clients and internal teams, to ensure clear understanding of payroll systems and processes.
  8. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in payroll systems and technology.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in developing and implementing complex payroll systems using PeopleTools and related technologies.
  • Extensive experience in designing and implementing payroll interfaces to third-party systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
