PeopleSoft Global Payroll Specialist

Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement complex payroll systems using PeopleTools and related technologies, such as PeopleCode, SQR, Application Engine, Component Interfaces, and COBOL, on PeopleSoft v9 or higher.
- Design and implement payroll interfaces to third-party systems, ensuring seamless integration and data exchange.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain payroll systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Develop and maintain Oracle databases, including SQL and PL/SQL, to support payroll systems and ensure data integrity.
- Provide expert-level support for PeopleSoft HR implementation and maintenance, ensuring optimal system performance and user experience.
- Conduct thorough analysis and problem-solving to identify and resolve payroll-related issues, ensuring timely and accurate resolution.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including clients and internal teams, to ensure clear understanding of payroll systems and processes.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in payroll systems and technology.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in developing and implementing complex payroll systems using PeopleTools and related technologies.
- Extensive experience in designing and implementing payroll interfaces to third-party systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
