Job Role

As a Manager in our Recovery & Restructuring team, you'll be part of a diverse group of professionals dedicated to helping lenders and debtors navigate challenging financial situations.

MNP is a leading national accounting, tax and business advisory firm in Canada, and this role offers the opportunity to work with a talented team to deliver business strategies and solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead proposal, planning, and delivery of corporate insolvency services, identifying operational and financial challenges and recommending stabilizing activities.
  • Assist with data analysis, review of accounting records, and development of financial models.
  • Execute formal and informal restructurings and administer insolvency appointments.
  • Develop relationships with special loan financiers, insolvency lawyers, and business executives.
  • Prepare and review statutory documentation associated with insolvency procedures.
  • Manage engagement planning, project financials, and identify innovative ways to deliver added value to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Completion of a Chartered Insolvency and Restructuring Professional (CIRP) certification and working to become a Licensed Insolvency Trustee (LIT).
  • 5+ years of insolvency experience, specifically corporate insolvency experience.
  • Strong knowledge of the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act.
