Job Title: Auto Body Technician

MasterTech is seeking a skilled Auto Body Technician to join our team in Duncan, British Columbia. As a key member of our Collision Center, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring damaged motor vehicle body parts to their original condition.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a qualified Auto Body Technician who is certified and experienced in repairing and replacing front end and body components, doors, frame, and under-body components. The ideal candidate will have excellent manual dexterity and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Repair and replace front end and body components, doors, frame, and under-body components
  • Hammer out dents, buckles, and other defects using blocks and hammers
  • Operate soldering equipment or use plastic filler to fill holes, dents, and seams
  • Remove damaged fenders, panels, and grills using wrenches and cutting torch and bolt or weld replacement parts into place
Requirements:
  • Certified Auto Body and Collision Technician
  • Driver's license
  • Pre-employment background checks
Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive compensation package, including a flat rate and bonus system. Experienced Techs can bill 80+ hours per week and earn extra compensation for exceeding the semi-monthly threshold of billed time. Benefits available after three months include health insurance, dental insurance, eye care insurance, uniforms, and boot and tool allowance.

Schedule:

Day shift, Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 3:30 pm.
