Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Body Shop Supervisor to lead our team of technicians and ensure the efficient operation of our body shop. The successful candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and a proven track record of supervising teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and submit reports to management on shop performance and productivity
  • Establish and manage work schedules to ensure optimal shop utilization
  • Oversee the safety of operations and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Recommend personnel actions to management, including hiring, promotions, and disciplinary actions
  • Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of technicians and other shop personnel
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed
  • Train staff in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies
Requirements
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • Or equivalent experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Reliability and flexibility
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced body shop environment with a team of technicians and other shop personnel. The work schedule will be 35-40 hours per week, with occasional overtime as required.
