About the Role

We are seeking an experienced electromechanical technician to join our maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining the proper functioning of production equipment
  • Participating in machine format changes
  • Performing preventive maintenance on equipment
  • Resolving electrical and mechanical problems
  • Developing and updating maintenance procedures
  • Performing interventions as required, and establishing priorities
  • Respecting safety protocols, good manufacturing practices, and HACCP guidelines
  • Completing work orders and daily follow-up reports

Requirements

  • Degree in electromechanical systems automation or industrial mechanics
  • 3-5 years of experience in a related field
  • Strong practical knowledge of:
  • Control systems
  • AC and VFD motors
  • Instrumentation
  • Pneumatic control
  • Knowledge of maintenance management software
  • Knowledge of the agro-food industry (an asset)
  • Knowledge of mechanical systems in conveyor systems (an asset)
  • Knowledge of HACCP standards (an asset)
