Electromechanical Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Electromechanical Technician to join our team at PBE Expert. As an Electromechanical Technician, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining power equipment and systems.
Key Responsibilities- Design and Development: Design and develop power equipment and systems, including interpreting blueprints and other instructions to plan methods or sequences of operation.
- Installation and Maintenance: Install equipment, maintain equipment, and read blueprints or other instructions to determine work requirements.
- Testing and Troubleshooting: Test power equipment and systems, and assist in troubleshooting and repairing issues.
- Research and Development: Conduct applied research in fields of electrical and electronic engineering and physics, and assist in design, development, and testing.
- Documentation and Reporting: Complete work orders, test and maintenance reports, and assist in preparing estimates, schedules, specifications, and reports.
- Education: Other trades certificate or diploma in electromechanical technology or a related field.
- Experience: Experience in electromechanical technology or a related field is an asset.
- Certifications: Certification by a provincial or territorial association is required.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of electromechanical systems, including design, development, installation, and maintenance. Proficient in computer-aided design (CAD) software and other relevant tools.
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. The ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail is essential. The role requires standing for extended periods and working in a physically demanding environment.
