Job Title: Early Childhood Educator Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Early Childhood Educator Assistant to join our team at 1957322 Alberta Inc. As an Assistant in Early Childhood Education, you will play a vital role in supporting the development and well-being of young children in our childcare centre.

Responsibilities:
  • Bathe, diaper, and feed infants and toddlers with care and attention to their needs.
  • Develop and implement child-care programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Engage children in activities through storytelling, teaching songs, and preparing crafts.
  • Assist early childhood educators or supervisors in keeping records and observing children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems.
  • Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Criminal record check.
  • Own transportation or access to public transportation.
Work Environment:

Our childcare centre is a noisy environment with a team of 5-10 people. You will work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with repetitive tasks and attention to detail required.
