Job Summary

We are seeking a talented Junior Software Developer to join our team. As a junior software developer, you will be responsible for independently driving tasks assigned to you to completion, collaborating with key stakeholders, and working closely with our experienced data scientists.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement new features and resolve issues in existing features to enable clients to meet their goals
  • Work on both the front- and back-end of interactive dashboards and enterprise web applications
  • Learn and work in different programming languages
  • Explore and discuss various programming paradigms and software libraries
  • Test, debug, and refactor existing codebases
  • Learn from others' code and receive feedback in pull-request reviews
  • Assist in the exploration and wrangling of new data
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field
  • Experience using Git and GitHub
  • Comfortable working with Linux via a command-line interface
  • Ability to communicate in English clearly and accurately with people from various technical backgrounds
  • Ability to manage and query data in a relational database management system using SQL
