Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Cybersecurity Solutions Architect to join our team at Scotiabank. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead the design, implementation, and management of network security solutions and platforms.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical leadership and strategic direction in the development of network security strategies and procedures to mitigate risks and enhance the overall security posture of the organization. They will also be responsible for evaluating network security resiliency and performance, identifying technology and security gaps, and developing comprehensive mitigating strategies and contingencies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Implement Network Security Solutions: Develop and implement network security strategies and procedures to mitigate risks and enhance the overall security posture of the organization.
  • Evaluate Network Security Resiliency and Performance: Evaluate network security resiliency and performance to identify areas for improvement and develop recommendations for enhancements.
  • Identify Technology and Security Gaps: Identify technology and security gaps and develop comprehensive mitigating strategies and contingencies to address them.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices into the design and implementation of new network security technologies and initiatives.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; an Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCNP Security, CEH) are preferred.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience with demonstrated success in implementing continuous improvement and strategic initiatives.
  • 8+ years of experience in network security engineering or related role planning, designing, and deploying large-scale enterprise or data-center infrastructure/technologies.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a range of benefits including flexible vacation, personal, and sick days, and access to upskilling opportunities.
