Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Hotel Front Desk Associate to join our team at Serena Properties Inc. As a key member of our hotel staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service and ensuring a smooth and efficient check-in and check-out process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Registration: Register arriving guests and assign rooms in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Front Desk Operations: Process group arrivals and departures, take, cancel and change room reservations, and provide information on hotel facilities and services.
  • Guest Services: Provide general information about points of interest in the area, process guests' departures, calculate charges, and receive payments.
  • Cash Handling: Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments.
  • Clerical Duties: Perform various clerical tasks, including faxing, filing, and photocopying.
  • Communication: Answer telephone calls and relay messages, and assist clients/guests with special needs.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service and respond to guest inquiries and concerns.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficient in multi-line switchboard, word processing software, and internet.
  • Security and Safety: Must undergo a criminal record check.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, stand for extended periods, and work under pressure.
Work Environment

As a Hotel Front Desk Associate at Serena Properties Inc., you will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, interacting with guests and colleagues from diverse backgrounds. You will be required to work 40 hours per week, with the possibility of overtime.
