Job Title: Welder Supervisor

We are seeking a skilled Welder Supervisor to join our team at AM& M RIAR LTD. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing the operation of our welding department and ensuring the highest quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise a team of 5-10 welders and ensure they have the necessary tools and equipment to perform their duties.
  • Prepare production reports and requisition materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Train or arrange for training to ensure employees have the necessary skills to perform their jobs.
  • Co-ordinate and schedule activities to meet production deadlines.
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed and maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory role.
  • Machinist Trade Certification, Tool and Die Maker Trade Certification, or Welder Trade Red Seal Certificate.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
