Job SummaryThe Registered Nurse - Emergency Department will be responsible for providing direct patient care, assessing patient needs, and developing and implementing individualized care plans. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and contribute to care planning and decision-making
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective care transitions
- Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical practices, policies, and procedures
- Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Basic Cardiac Life Support Certification
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including days, nights, and weekends
