Senior Culinary Specialist

At Safron's Caribbean Delight, we're seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Culinary Specialist to join our team. This is a permanent position with a 40-44 hour workweek.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate special events such as weddings and corporate functions
- Develop and implement menu plans, taking into account seasonal ingredients and customer preferences
- Prepare and cook high-quality meals and individual dishes, adhering to health and safety standards
- Cater to customers with food allergies and dietary requirements
- Conduct regular inspections of the kitchen and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization
- Purchase supplies and equipment as needed, maintaining inventory levels
- Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and customer interactions
- Clean and maintain the kitchen and work areas
- Oversee kitchen operations, including staff supervision and training
- Fast-paced environment with frequent deadlines
- Physically demanding, requiring prolonged standing and manual labor
- Repetitive tasks may be involved
- Extended periods of standing are required
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Dependable and reliable, with a strong sense of accountability
- Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities
- Judicious decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Organized and methodical approach to tasks and responsibilities

- Criminal record check and bondability
- Able to provide own transportation or access to public transportation
The estimated annual salary for this position is approximately $55,000-$65,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
