At Federated Co-operatives Limited, we're seeking a skilled Gas Bar Attendant to join our team at South Gaetz Gas Bar in Red Deer. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a safe and efficient fueling experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide outstanding customer service at the pump, ensuring a positive experience for every customer.
  • Dispense fuel and propane with precision, adhering to all safety protocols.
  • Perform windshield cleaning and check oil/fluid levels, maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail.
  • Process fuel and merchandise payments efficiently, handling cash and card transactions with accuracy.
  • Receive, unpack, and display merchandise with care, ensuring a visually appealing store environment.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
  • Perform car wash cleaning duties as needed, supporting the overall cleanliness of our gas bar.
  • Support marketing initiatives to enhance customer experience, promoting our products and services effectively.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to learn.

Requirements:

  • Minimum age requirement: 16 years old, as per government regulations for dispensing fuel and propane.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous cash handling and customer service experience preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, working independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, with some heavy lifting required.
  • Previous experience in fuel dispensing is an asset, with training available for the right candidate.
