Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Gas Bar Attendant to join our dynamic team at Timberlands Gas Bar in Red Deer.

About the Role:

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about delivering exceptional customer service. As a Gas Bar Attendant, you will be responsible for providing outstanding customer experiences at the pump, dispensing fuel and propane with precision, and performing various tasks to ensure a safe and clean work environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service at the pump, ensuring a positive experience for all customers
  • Dispense fuel and propane with accuracy and efficiency
  • Perform windshield cleaning and check oil/fluid levels to maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety
  • Process fuel and merchandise payments promptly and efficiently
  • Receive, unpack, and display merchandise in a neat and organized manner
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to company standards and regulations
  • Perform car wash cleaning duties as needed, applicable to locations with car wash facilities
  • Support marketing initiatives to enhance customer engagement and satisfaction
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager to support team goals and objectives
Requirements:
  • Minimum age requirement: 16 years old (as per government regulations for dispensing fuel and propane)
  • Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse customers
  • Previous cash handling and customer service experience preferred, but not required
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, remaining calm and composed under pressure
  • Team player with the ability to work independently, taking initiative to complete tasks efficiently
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, with some heavy lifting required
  • Previous experience in fuel dispensing is an asset, with training available for new hires

Total Rewards:

We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including medical and dental insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
