Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Plumber to join our team at Skyway Plumbing & Gas Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems in various locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
  • Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors.
  • Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings.
  • Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment.
  • Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges.
  • Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing.
  • Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to the required shape and size.
Requirements
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in plumbing.
  • Permanent employment.
  • English language proficiency.
  • 40 hours per week.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a variety of locations, including commercial, industrial, institutional, and residential settings. The work environment will be physically demanding, requiring the ability to bend, crouch, and kneel.
