About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Plumber to join our team at Skyway Plumbing & Gas Ltd. As a Plumber, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems in various locations, including commercial, industrial, and residential settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks, and waste and drainage systems.
  • Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors.
  • Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings.
  • Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment.
  • Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges.
  • Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing.
  • Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to the required shape and size.

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

This role requires physical stamina and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will be required to bend, crouch, and kneel frequently, and work under pressure to meet deadlines.

Requirements:

  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in plumbing.
  • Permanent employment.
  • English language proficiency.
  • 40 hours per week.
