Mechanical Project Manager

About the Role:
Trotter & Morton Group of Companies is seeking a skilled Mechanical Project Manager to lead our commercial construction projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and supervising day-to-day operations, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise superintendents and foremen on assigned projects
- Initiate, review, and oversee project administration and documentation
- Ensure contract agreements are secured, reviewed, and executed
- Review and finalize project budgets, making updates and revisions as needed
- Conduct pre-construction turnover meetings and ensure all required permits and licenses are obtained
- Coordinate procurement of materials and equipment, with a focus on meeting schedule dates and budget costs
- Negotiate and process subcontract agreements, ensuring timely and accurate billing
- Oversee financial performance of assigned projects, including cost control and management
- Manage subcontractors and suppliers, reviewing and approving invoices
- Assist the General Manager in addressing project disputes and claims
Requirements:
- Engineering degree or CET an asset
- Journeyperson ticket required
- Minimum 4 years of construction management experience

- Competitive salary range: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 annually
