Job Overview

The Barista Lead is a key member of our team, responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences and ensuring the smooth operation of our coffee bar.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet and assist customers in a friendly and efficient manner, anticipating their needs and providing personalized service.
  • Beverage Preparation: Prepare and serve high-quality coffees, teas, and specialty beverages according to brand standards.
  • Team Leadership: Train and guide staff members in coffee preparation, customer service, cash handling, and product knowledge.
  • Operations Management: Manage the coffee bar, including setting up and breaking down equipment, cleaning and sanitizing the area, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Cash Handling: Accurately operate a register/POS and handle cash and credit card transactions, adhering to Aramark's cash handling policies and procedures.
  • Inventory Management: Stock beverage coolers, grab-and-go items, service ware, and condiments, and maintain accurate inventory levels.
  • Health and Safety: Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products and maintain a clean and sanitary work environment.
Requirements
  • Experience: Previous experience as a successful barista and cash handling experience are required.
  • Skills: Basic math and counting skills, ability to work independently with limited supervision, and ability to read and communicate in English.
  • Certifications: Complete Food Handling Certification as required.
