We are seeking a skilled and experienced Retail Meat Cutter to join our team at Al Shukran Groceries INC. As a key member of our meat department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of meat products for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cutting and Preparing Meat
    • Clean and trim meats to prepare for processing or cutting
    • Cut carcasses, sides, and quarters
    • Cut, trim, and prepare standard cuts of meat
  • Meat Handling and Packaging
    • Wrap and package prepared meats
    • Remove bones from meat
    • Cut poultry into parts
  • Team Leadership and Training
    • Supervise other butchers, meat cutters, and fishmongers
    • Train meat cutters
  • Special Orders and Displays
    • Prepare special orders
    • Prepare special displays of meats, poultry, and fish products
  • Work Environment and Physical Demands
    • Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
    • Combine sitting, standing, and walking throughout the day
    • Physically demanding role requiring manual labor
Requirements
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role
  • Permanent employment
  • English language proficiency
  • 30 hours per week
