Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at Soucy Caoutchouc. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a crucial role in the production of our products and the improvement of our processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and implement process improvements to ensure efficient production of assigned products
  • Develop and provide necessary tools for new product production or manufacturing process changes
  • Measure and optimize process performance to meet established objectives and standards
  • Design and implement optimized layouts and ergonomic work environments for production employees
  • Contribute to the improvement of manufacturing processes to achieve production quality objectives
  • Analyze work methods and recommend improvements
  • Participate in evaluations to establish production rates for production start-ups and changes
  • Lead projects aimed at continuous process and procedure improvement in the company
Requirements:
  • Bachelor or technical degree in industrial or mechanical engineering
  • Relevant experience in a manufacturing company is an asset
  • Experience in the rubber industry is an asset
  • Good command of French (spoken and written)
  • Mastery of the Microsoft Office suite (advanced in Word and Excel)
  • Good analytical skills
  • Good knowledge of LEAN concepts and tools
  • Rigor in documentation management
  • Ability to manage priorities and good problem-solving skills
