About the Position
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Onsite Medical Representative to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with the WHS site manager, WHS specialist, and occasionally the Injury Prevention Specialist (IPS).
Responsibilities
- Assess and administer first aid, providing guidance to Amazon Associates on both occupational and non-occupational injuries or illnesses.
- Participate in weekly case management review meetings as necessary.
- Maintain a clean working environment and ensure appropriate medical supply inventory is maintained.
- Work flexible shifts, which could include days, nights, holidays, and/or weekends.
Requirements
- A high school or equivalent diploma.
- A valid card evidencing successful completion of standard first aid with CPR/AED level A or C from a Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) approved certifying authority.
- One of the following: a valid Provincial Primary Care Paramedic (PCP) Certification, a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) license, or six months of job experience as a Military Medical Technician.
