We are seeking a detail-oriented and safety-conscious Production Assistant to join our team at Aegis Industrial Finishing Ltd. in our shop. As a Production Assistant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production process.

About the Job:

  • This position requires strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • The successful candidate will be provided with comprehensive training on our production processes and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carefully package finished goods for safe transportation and storage.
  • Solve unique racking and staging challenges of clean customer goods for production.
  • Inspect pieces for proper cleanliness before blasting and prepare parts for blasting as per work instructions.
  • Assist the Lead Sand Blaster with the transport of goods through the shop and assist Shipper with loading and unloading delivery trucks as required.
  • Safely and effectively use orbital sanders, air guns, and other production-related tools.
  • Open communication to keep production flowing and attend production huddles, safety meetings, and training as required.
