Job Summary

The Regional Surgical Services Program Clerk 3 is responsible for supporting the activity of the Central Intake and Assessment Centre (CIAC) and its team of Advanced Practice Clinicians.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Central Intake and Assessment Centre (CIAC) team in their daily activities.

  • Assist with data compilation and entry, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.

  • Provide administrative support to the CIAC team, including coordinating meetings and scheduling appointments.

  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care transitions.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including healthcare providers and administrative staff.

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and services.

Requirements

  • Completion of secondary school.

  • Post-secondary diploma/certificate in Office Administration/Medical Office Administration or equivalent.

  • Proficiency in computer skills, including data compilation and entry.

  • Knowledge of software applications, such as Excel.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Competency in multitasking and time management.

  • Excellent organization and prioritization skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Proficiency in Novari Erequest, Fluency software, and OTN booking.
