Job Title: Plumbing Technician

We are seeking a skilled Plumbing Technician to join our team at PR Mechanical Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and repair plumbing fixtures and systems, including pipes, fittings, and appliances
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine plumbing system layouts
  • Prepare tenders and quotations for plumbing projects
  • Locate and mark positions for pipe connections and fixtures in walls and floors
  • Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings
  • Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment
  • Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges
  • Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing
  • Estimate costs and materials for plumbing projects
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in plumbing
  • Physically demanding work environment
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
