Job Title: Plumbing Technician

At Sky High Plumbing and Heating Ltd, we are seeking a skilled Plumbing Technician to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine plumbing system layouts
  • Prepare tenders and quotations for plumbing projects
  • Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors
  • Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings
  • Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment
  • Schedule personnel, tools, and equipment for plumbing projects
  • Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges
  • Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing
  • Supervise other workers on plumbing projects
  • Estimate costs and materials for plumbing projects
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in plumbing or a related field
  • Equivalent experience may be considered
