We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality psychological services to our clients, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health and addiction issues.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and develop treatment plans for clients with mental health and addiction issues.
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions to clients, using evidence-based approaches and techniques.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
- Develop and implement educational programs for clients and their families.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from a recognized university.
- Current registration with the College of Psychologists of British Columbia or registration with the College within one year of employment.
- Two years of recent experience in therapeutic, diagnostic, and consultation services in mental health and addiction services.
- Knowledge of psychological assessment, including semi-structured diagnostic assessment.
- Knowledge of therapeutic, diagnostic, and consultation techniques.
- Knowledge of treatment, assessment, and management of anxiety disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder, and psychological trauma.
