Job Title: Associate Director of Sales

iA Financial Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Director of Sales to join our team. As a key member of our Compliance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our sales communications align with regulatory requirements and are fair, balanced, and not misleading.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Regulatory Compliance: Stay up-to-date with regulations that govern sales communications and ensure that our team's activities are in compliance with these regulations.
  2. Adherence to Updated Rules: Minimize legal risks by understanding current and proposed legislation, enforcing regulations, and recommending new procedures to ensure compliance.
  3. Promote Continuous Learning: Foster a culture of continuous learning and knowledge management within the Compliance Sales Communications team.
  4. Guide and Influence Senior Leaders: Develop strong relationships with senior leaders and tailor your communication and guidance to align with their priorities.
  5. Participate in Special Projects: Contribute to special projects that require input and expertise, such as the development of a sales communication portal or marketing initiatives.
Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or Communications.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a management role.
  3. 10 years of relevant experience in Compliance, Communications, or Sales Practices.
  4. Excellent knowledge of French and English, both oral and written, due to frequent interactions with internal colleagues and Francophone and Anglophone partners across Canada.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. Advanced computer skills in the MS Office Suite (Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint).
