### Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Produce Department Assistant Manager to join our team at Fortinos. As a key member of our produce team, you will play a vital role in ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining high-quality produce displays, and driving sales and profits.

### Key Responsibilities

* Provide exceptional customer service in a courteous and friendly manner, maintaining our reputation for personalized experience
* Assist in creating effective planograms to drive sales and profits
* Order produce on a daily basis in accordance with product movement and future promotions under the direction of the produce manager
* Receive and check all produce orders and invoices
* Assist in effective inventory control and price changes of produce items
* Assist in the direction and supervision of staff
* Rotate, stock all tables and counters while ensuring the quality of all produce
* Ensure the safety, sanitation, and general maintenance of the department meet with Company standards

### Ideal Candidate

* Exceptional customer service skills
* Minimum of 3 years' work experience in a retail produce environment with knowledge of salad bar, bulk, and garden centre operations
* Flexibility to work a variety of hours, including days, evenings, and weekends
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
