About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Early Childhood Educator Assistant to join our team at Kinderville Childcare Ltd. As an Early Childhood Educator Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of our childcare center and contributing to the development of our young learners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Child Development and Assessment
    • Conduct regular assessments of children's development to inform learning plans and ensure individualized support.
  • Support to Educators
    • Assist early childhood educators in implementing programs that promote physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.
    • Support educators in maintaining accurate records and communicating with parents.
  • Program Implementation
    • Engage children in activities that promote learning and development, such as storytelling, singing, and crafts.
    • Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods.
  • Administrative Support
    • Assist with housekeeping and cooking duties as needed.
Requirements
  • Education
    • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience
    • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Certifications and Licenses
    • Child Development Assistant (ECE Level 1) certification.
Work Environment
  • Work Language
    • English.
  • Hours of Work
    • 40 hours per week.
