About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and caring individual to join our team as an Early Childhood Educator Assistant at Sandbox Early Learning. As an assistant to our early childhood educators, you will play a vital role in supporting the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of our young students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Support: Assist early childhood educators in implementing programs that promote the overall development of children, including physical, cognitive, emotional, and social growth.
  • Record Keeping: Collaborate with early childhood educators or supervisors to maintain accurate records of children's progress and activities.
  • Engagement and Activities: Engage children in various activities, such as storytelling, teaching songs, and preparing crafts, to foster their creativity and curiosity.
  • Guidance and Support: Provide guidance and support to children in developing essential life skills, including proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
  • Preparation and Arrangement: Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods to ensure a comfortable and safe environment for our students.
  • Observations and Reporting: Submit written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors to facilitate informed decision-making.
Certifications and Qualifications
  • Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate: Possess a valid Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate to demonstrate your expertise in early childhood education.
  • First Aid and CPR Certificates: Hold current First Aid and CPR Certificates to ensure you are equipped to respond to emergencies.
