Job Summary

CSN Collision is seeking a skilled Collision Damage Estimator to join our team. As a key member of our repair facility, you will be responsible for providing detailed estimates to repair vehicles post-collision. Your expertise will ensure that our customers receive accurate and reliable assessments, while also meeting the high standards of our insurance partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimate Preparation: Conduct thorough inspections of damaged vehicles to identify repair requirements and estimate costs.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with customers, insurers, and vendors to ensure clear expectations and timely repairs.
  • Repair Planning: Develop and implement repair plans that meet OEM standards and adhere to shop policies and insurer guidelines.
  • Cost Control: Optimize repair costs by selecting the most cost-effective repair options and sourcing parts according to guidelines.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of estimates, repairs, and communications with stakeholders.
  • Quality Control: Inspect vehicles throughout the repair process to ensure quality and adherence to standards.
Requirements
  • Experience: At least 3-5 years of experience working as a Collision Estimator.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficient in Mitchell Connect and Audatex software, as well as other relevant software applications.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Certifications: I-CAR training an asset.
