Miette Mountain Cabins is seeking a skilled Front Desk Agent to join our team. As a key member of our front office staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, handling room reservations, and ensuring a smooth and efficient check-in and check-out process.
Key Responsibilities- Guest Services: Register arriving guests, assign rooms, and provide information on hotel facilities and services.
- Room Management: Take, cancel, and change room reservations, and maintain an inventory of vacancies and room assignments.
- Customer Service: Investigate complaints and claims, resolve issues, and provide general information about points of interest in the area.
- Administrative Tasks: Process guests' departures, calculate charges, and receive payments, as well as perform clerical duties such as faxing, filing, and photocopying.
- Technology: Utilize multi-line switchboard, word processing software, database software, and computerized bookkeeping systems to manage front desk operations.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Experience: Will train.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced hotel environment with standing for extended periods.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 30-40 hours per week.
