Job Title: Mental Health and Substance Use Clinician

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health and Substance Use Clinician to join our team at Interior Health Authority. Job Responsibilities:

As a Mental Health and Substance Use Clinician, you will:

  • Provide assessment, treatment, and service coordination for individuals with substance use problems or concurrent substance use and mental health issues
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Conduct individual and group therapy sessions
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community partners and stakeholders
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and professional development opportunities
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g. social work, psychology, nursing)
  • Experience working with individuals with substance use problems or concurrent substance use and mental health issues
  • Strong assessment and treatment skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
