Salary

The salary for this position ranges from $70.00 to $80.00 per hour, offering a competitive compensation package that reflects your expertise and dedication to delivering high-quality care.

Job Description

We are looking for an NP who shares our vision of providing patient-centered care that prioritizes flexibility, accessibility, and elevated customer service. As a contracted NP, you will have the autonomy to run your own independent business, delivering medical services to residents and clients within the geriatric sector.

  • Deliver medical services as a Medical Resident Provider (MRP) within a geriatric facility
  • Operate/Run a primary health care clinic, 6 hours per week, as an MRP for rostered patients
  • Be on-call to provide immediate support and care

As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing complex chronic co-morbidities and developing personalized care plans
  • Collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Providing education and support to clients and staff
  • Participating in care conferencing to drive optimal patient outcomes
Requirements

To excel in this role, you must possess:

  • A recognized Nurse Practitioner program, preferably in Primary Health Care
  • Current extended class certification with the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience, with a preference for geriatrics
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Valid CPR and First Aid certification
  • A current vulnerable sector police check
