About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Welding Specialist to join our team at Niagara Industrial Maintenance Ltd. As a key member of our fabrication department, you will be responsible for operating manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to produce high-quality metal products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fabricate metal components
  • Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, and manuals to ensure accurate fabrication
  • Examine welds to ensure they meet industry standards and specifications
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment to cut metal components
  • Determine weldability of materials and select appropriate welding techniques
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in welding or a related field
  • Ability to work in an urban area and operate in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately
  • Organized and able to work as part of a team
Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 40-hour workweek. The work environment is fast-paced and requires the ability to work accurately and efficiently.
