Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team at Niagara Industrial Maintenance Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, reading and interpreting welding blueprints, and ensuring that welds meet standards and specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to join metal parts together
  • Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, and manuals to determine the best welding technique
  • Examine welds to ensure they meet quality and safety standards
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment to cut metal
  • Determine the weldability of materials and select the appropriate welding technique
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in welding
  • Ability to work in an urban area
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a team environment
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in an urban area and will be required to work a 40-hour week.

The primary language of work is English.
