Job Title: Cook

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Modern Family Restaurant. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to ensure a well-stocked kitchen.
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet the needs of our customers.
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to maintain high standards of quality and safety.
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Manage kitchen operations to ensure smooth service delivery.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
  • Permanent employment.
  • 40 hours per week.
  • English as the primary language of work.
