Physiotherapist Opportunity at Geraldton District Hospital

Geraldton District Hospital is seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to join our Rehabilitation Services Team. As a fully accredited health care organization, we are committed to providing high-quality services to residents of Greenstone and surrounding First Nations communities.

Our hospital offers a range of services, including clinical nutrition, diagnostic imaging, laboratory, outreach chemotherapy, rehabilitation, social work, and telemedicine. We are looking for an enthusiastic and organized individual to provide clinical physiotherapy services to inpatients, long-term care residents, and outpatient clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical physiotherapy services to patients in various settings
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve patient goals
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine patient needs
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
Requirements:
  • Degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent from an accredited institution
  • Current registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
  • Related work experience in a hospital setting is an asset
  • Previous experience functioning in a multidisciplinary team environment is essential
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
What We Offer:
  • Competitive hourly rate: $36.54-$48.57
  • 37.5 hours per week
