Key Responsibilities- Menu Planning and Preparation: Plan menus and estimate food requirements for their realization, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing waste.
- Culinary Expertise: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards.
- Food Safety and Quality: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and adherence to food safety protocols.
- Team Collaboration: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, promoting a culture of teamwork and excellence.
- Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring accurate tracking and ordering.
- Cleanliness and Organization: Clean kitchen and work areas, maintaining a safe and healthy environment for staff and customers.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Language: Fluency in English.
