Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced Industrial Coatings Foreman/Supervisor to lead operations at our Nisku facility. The successful candidate will have a strong background in industrial coatings and sandblasting, coupled with leadership experience.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise day-to-day operations in our sandblasting and coatings facility, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.
- Manage, train, and support the team in maintaining safety protocols and production efficiency.
- Coordinate project schedules, staff deployment, and equipment use to optimize output and ensure project goals are met.
- Conduct quality inspections and ensure all work adheres to client specifications and industry standards.
- Act as the key liaison between the management team and the shop floor, ensuring smooth communication and workflow.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean, safe work environment for all team members.
- At least 3 years of experience in industrial sandblasting and coating.
- NACE certification (Level 1 or 2) is a strong asset.
- Proven leadership experience, with the ability to effectively manage and mentor a team.
- Comprehensive knowledge of coatings, blasting techniques, equipment, and safety standards.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with a focus on detail and quality.
- Ability to work in a high-demand environment, including availability for overtime and weekend work when required.
