The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety, technical expertise in structural engineering, and excellent collaboration skills to address structural deficiencies and improve asset reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Scopes & Work Packages: Develop detailed technical scopes of work and create work packages for addressing structural deficiencies across the mine site.
  • Design & Repairs: Design engineered repair plans for small-scale structural deficiencies, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
  • Inspections & Reporting: Conduct regular structural inspections, review findings, and provide comprehensive reports on the condition of structures.
  • Support to Teams: Provide technical support to Tradespeople, Supervisors, Planners, Engineers, and Operations teams on structural integrity issues.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure structural designs and installations meet relevant industry codes and standards, as well as Nutrien Specifications, laws, and regulations.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience. Our company provides a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a generous pension plan.

We are looking for a highly detail-oriented individual with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and prior experience in a potash mine, oil & gas, or industrial setting.

Our ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and possess a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation. They will be familiar with Microsoft Office, Computer Aided Structural Analysis & Design software, and 3D Modeling software.
