At Phase Consulting, we are seeking a skilled Structural Integrity Specialist to join our team for a 6-month secondment. This role is part of our Surface Asset Integrity Program, focusing on ensuring the structural integrity of assets through inspections, design, and technical support.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety, technical expertise in structural engineering, and excellent collaboration skills to address structural deficiencies and improve asset reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Scopes & Work Packages: Develop detailed technical scopes of work and create work packages for addressing structural deficiencies across the mine site.
- Design & Repairs: Design engineered repair plans for small-scale structural deficiencies, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
- Inspections & Reporting: Conduct regular structural inspections, review findings, and provide comprehensive reports on the condition of structures.
- Support to Teams: Provide technical support to Tradespeople, Supervisors, Planners, Engineers, and Operations teams on structural integrity issues.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure structural designs and installations meet relevant industry codes and standards, as well as Nutrien Specifications, laws, and regulations.
This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience. Our company provides a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a generous pension plan.
We are looking for a highly detail-oriented individual with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and prior experience in a potash mine, oil & gas, or industrial setting.
Our ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and possess a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation. They will be familiar with Microsoft Office, Computer Aided Structural Analysis & Design software, and 3D Modeling software.
