Your Opportunity

Our Edmonton office is seeking a Senior Consultant/Manager, SR&ED Expert to join the SR&ED and Government Incentives team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:

  1. Leading and supporting SR&ED client engagements, focusing on the manufacturing, natural resources, and clean technology/environmental industries.
  2. Engaging and maintaining relationships with clients, becoming a trusted and influential advisor, and providing exceptional customer service.
  3. Examining client operations and processes to determine eligibility for various grants, tax credits, and funding programs.
  4. Effectively communicating with team members regarding progress updates and issues.
  5. Providing clients with professional and timely advice related to documentation and compliance with SR&ED program requirements.
  6. Gathering internal and external client resources utilization and assisting with costing activities.
  7. Assisting and guiding clients during technical reviews with the CRA.

Your Background

We're looking for a professional with a University degree and/or strong technical expertise in a specific field of science and engineering (B.Sc., M.Sc., or PhD). You should have:

  1. At least 2 years of SR&ED experience, with a proven track record of success.
  2. Excellent technical writing skills and strong editorial capabilities.
  3. A strong understanding of teamwork, client service, and quality in detailed work.
  4. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
