Job Description
  • Work collaboratively as a member of the multi-disciplinary team to provide personal assistance and support services to patients who require short-term assistance or ongoing support.
  • Assist nurses with routine care to meet patients' hygiene, nutrition, mobility, recreation, and safety needs.
  • Maintain effective communication with patients and health professionals to ensure a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Completion of a Health Care Aide Certificate within 18 months of hire.
  • Active directory status on the Alberta Health Care Aide Directory.
  • Nursing students currently enrolled in an approved Alberta nursing program who have successfully completed a minimum of 100 hours of practicum may also apply.
