Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Hashtag Donair Aldergrove Ltd. as a Team Lead. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Oversee the daily activities of food preparation and portioning staff, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Provide training and guidance to staff on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, as well as ongoing coaching and development to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate and manage inventory of ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that stock levels are adequate to meet demand.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business decision-making.
  • Communication: Prepare food order summaries for the chef, ensuring that orders are accurate and communicated effectively.
  • Tray Assembly and Delivery: Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys, ensuring that food is presented in a clean and appealing manner.
  • Scheduling: Establish work schedules for staff, ensuring that adequate coverage is maintained during peak periods.
Requirements
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Permanent employment.
  • Fluent in English.
  • 40 hours per week.
