Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with landscape constructions, weeding, pruning, and trimming trees and plants, cutting grass, removing litter and garbage, laying sod or seed, planting bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees, and operating and maintaining landscape maintenance equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with landscape constructions and installations
  • Weed, prune, and trim trees and plants to maintain a healthy and visually appealing landscape
  • Cut grass and maintain lawns to a high standard
  • Remove litter and garbage from the work area
  • Lay sod or seed to repair damaged lawns
  • Plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees to enhance the landscape
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and gardens to ensure their health and well-being
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment, including mowers, trimmers, and other tools
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this position
  • Experience is an asset, but not necessary
  • Ability to work 30 to 40 hours per week
  • Fluency in English is required
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions and will be required to lift heavy equipment and materials.
