About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Equipment Servicer to join our team at Levitt Safety Limited. As a Fire Equipment Servicer, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of fire equipment and systems in various locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Inspection and Repair

You will inspect fire equipment to determine the requirements for repair, replacement, or maintenance. This includes identifying defective or worn-out parts and components, and performing repairs using hand, power, or specially designed tools.

Testing and Calibration

You will test and adjust repaired products to ensure proper functioning, and calibrate equipment using hand tools.

Documentation and Reporting

You will complete work orders, test and maintenance reports, and provide advice and training to users in response to identified difficulties.

Security and Safety

You will undergo a criminal record check, drug test, and driver's validity license check to ensure a safe working environment.

Travel and Work Conditions

You will be willing to travel overnight and work in various locations, with a focus on manual dexterity, attention to detail, and hand-eye coordination.

Requirements
  • Education

You must have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

Experience

You must have at least 5 years of experience in a related field.

Language

You must be proficient in English.

Work Hours

You will work 40 hours per week.
