Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Building Automation Product Manager to join our team at Siemens Mobility. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing product strategies that enhance our position in the building automation market.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct market research to identify customer needs, industry trends, and competitive dynamics specific to building automation solutions.
  • Analyze data to derive insights and inform product positioning and marketing strategies.
  • Develop clear and compelling product positioning and messaging that differentiates our building automation solutions in the market.
  • Collaborate with HQ to identify and prioritize building automation products for the Canadian market.
  • Develop and maintain a product roadmap that aligns with company goals and market demands.
  • Oversee the product lifecycle from concept to launch, ensuring timely and successful product releases.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Engineering, or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience within the building automation industry.
  • 2+ years proven track record of successfully launching and managing building automation products/solutions.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Proficiency in product management software and tools.
