About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Help Desk Specialist to join our team at Tata Consultancy Services. As a Help Desk Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and technical support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshooting and Resolving Issues: Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to IT infrastructure services, including hardware, software, and network problems.
  • Customer Interaction: Offer excellent customer service by actively listening to user concerns, empathizing with their situation, and delivering clear and concise explanations.
  • Password Resets and Access Management: Perform routine password resets and account unlocks following established security protocols.
  • Documentation and Ticket Management: Create detailed incident tickets, record all relevant information, troubleshooting steps, and solutions provided.
Requirements:
  • Technical Skills: Knowledge of End User Computing Devices (Laptop / Desktop / VDI), Remote Desktop Client Software, VMware, and VDI troubleshooting.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to think around problems and come up with creative solutions.
  • Certifications: Microsoft Certification is an asset.
